Charitable Giving Program

Neighborhood Establishment & Social Responsibility

At Neighborhood Establishment, we are committed to being good neighbors. We take pride in contributing significantly to the local economy, employing more than 100 St. Croix residents who help us provide exceptional hospitality services to all visiting our establishments. We curate beautiful spaces where locals and tourists alike feel comfortable to gather, commune, and connect. We are proud to be part of the vibrant community of St. Croix.

Furthermore, Neighborhood Establishment is taking our commitment to community a step further by formalizing our Charitable Giving Program. We are looking to partner with local organizations that are doing good work in the areas of hospitality, agriculture, architecture, and education and have earmarked resources to support these efforts. Our goal is to make social investments that amplify the good work so many community organizations are already doing.

About the Charitable Giving Program

Neighborhood Establishment’s Charitable Giving Program is designed to help the company partner with local organizations committed to delivering impact in the areas of hospitality, agriculture, architecture, and education. The program aims to make social investments that promote education, workforce development, skill building, and community empowerment.

Neighborhood Establishment allocates a pool of funds as well as in-kind contributions for strategic community projects and events in St. Croix every year. The program’s funds and in-kind donations are intended to provide supplemental support for local programs and events. Due to the nature of our business, we are less able to accommodate in-kind donation requests during the high season (December thru April).

Also note that the pool of funds and in-kind donations is limited. Once exhausted, no additional requests will be considered or approved until the following year.

Eligibility Criteria

Neighborhood Establishment and its affiliates support charitable organizations that are tax-exempt in the United States, under Section 501(c) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.

To qualify for funding, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a non-profit organization with a current 501(c) exempt status (proof will be required as part of your submission)

  • Request must be used to support one of our outreach pillars

Neighborhood Establishment does not provide funding or in-kind donations for the following:

  • Individuals

  • Religious organizations

  • Fraternal and labor organizations

  • Conferences, workshops, or seminars not directly related to Neighborhood Establishment’s business interests

Funding Request Process

To participate in Neighborhood Establishment’s Corporate Social Responsibility program, organizations must submit a complete application for consideration.

All applications must include official proof of nonprofit status as well as a formal request letter at the time of submission. Please note that all funding and in-kind donation requests must align with one of our core outreach pillars—hospitality, agriculture, architecture, education—for consideration.

Funding requests are reviewed by our internal committee on the first Wednesday of every month. Programs/events set to occur within 30 days of the review meeting will not be considered. We strongly recommend submitting requests at least 60-90 days in advance.
